Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Markq Alpha Limited ("Markq Alpha", "we") collects through markq.ai, why, and what rights you have. Markq Alpha Limited is registered in the Masdar City Free Zone, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and this policy is written with reference to UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. Where we process personal data of individuals in the EU, UK, or other jurisdictions with their own data protection laws, we aim to meet those standards as well.

What we collect

• Enquiry form. Name, institution, email address, enquiry type, and the message you write. You provide this voluntarily when you submit the form.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps) for security and to operate the service.

We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or any other tracking technology on this Site.

Why we use it

We use enquiry data to respond to you and, where relevant, to hold your details on file as an expression of interest in our fund or platform. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where applicable, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Technical data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the Site secure.

Who processes it

The Site and its form are hosted by Netlify, Inc. (San Francisco, USA), which processes form submissions and server logs on our behalf under its data processing terms, including standard contractual clauses for transfers outside the EEA/UK. We do not sell personal data and do not share it with other third parties except as required by law.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are retained for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, or longer where we have an ongoing relationship or a legal obligation to keep records. Server logs are retained by the hosting provider for 30 days.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, or to provide it in a portable format. Write to enquiries@markq.ai. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority the UAE Data Office.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version.
